The Instruction on Non-ownership and Renunciation
सामुद्रिकान् स वणिजस्ततो<पश्यत् स्थितान् पथि । स तेन सह सार्थन प्रययौ सागरं प्रति
sāmudrikān sa vaṇijas tato 'paśyat sthitān pathi | sa tena saha sārthena prayayau sāgaraṃ prati ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਤਟ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੈਸ਼੍ਯ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲ ਪਿਆ।
