On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
नकुल उवाच धनु: प्रहरणं श्रेष्ठमतीवात्र पितामह । मतस्तु मम धर्मज्ञ खड्ग एव सुसंशित:
nakula uvāca | dhanuḥ praharaṇaṁ śreṣṭham atīvātra pitāmaha | matas tu mama dharmajña khaḍga eva susaṁśitaḥ ||
ਨਕੁਲ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਧਰਮਜ੍ਞ ਪਿਤਾਮਹ! ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
