न्यग्भावं परमं वायो: शाल्मले त्वमुपागत: । तवाहमस्मीति सदा येन रक्षति मारुत:

Transliteration

nyagbhāvaṃ paramaṃ vāyoḥ śālmale tvam upāgataḥ | tavāham asmīti sadā yena rakṣati mārutaḥ ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਸ਼ਾਲਮਲੀ! ਤੂੰ ਵਾਯੂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਰਮ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ—“ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ”; ਇਸੇ ਭਾਵ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਾਰੁਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
