अबुद्धिपूर्वकपापविमोचनप्रश्नः — Janamejaya’s Unintended Transgression and the Indrota Rebuke

स त्वं संतानवानद्य पुत्रवानसि च द्विज

Transliteration

sa tvaṃ saṃtānavān adya putravān asi ca dvija

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਦਵਿਜ, ਅੱਜ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਤਾਨ-ਸੰਪੰਨ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਹੈਂ। ਇਹੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥ-ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਥਿਰਤਾ—ਜੋ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ-ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਹੈ।
