न भुड्धक्ते मय्यभुक्ते या नास्नाते स्नाति सुव्रता । नातिष्ठत्युपतिछेत शेते च शयिते मयि
na bhuktānte mayy abhukte yā nāsnāte snāti suvratā | nātiṣṭhaty upatiṣṭhet śete ca śayite mayi ||
ਉਹ ਉੱਤਮ ਵਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਤਿਵ੍ਰਤਾ ਸੀ; ਮੈਂ ਖਾਧਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ, ਮੈਂ ਨ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਹੋਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਨ੍ਹਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾਏ ਬਿਨਾ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੈਠਦੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਯਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ।
