कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

नैव निम्नं स्थलं वापि सो$5विन्दत विहड़हा । पूरितो हि जलौघेन तस्य मार्गो वनस्य च,वनका मार्ग जिसपर वह चलता था, जलके प्रवाहमें डूब गया था। उस बहेलियेको नीची-ऊँची भूमिका कुछ पता नहीं चलता था
naiva nimnaṃ sthalaṃ vāpi so 'vindata vihaṅgamaḥ | pūrito hi jalaughena tasya mārgo vanasya ca ||
ਉਹ ਪੰਛੀ-ਫੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਥਾਂ ਪਛਾਣ ਸਕਿਆ, ਨਾ ਉੱਚੀ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸੈਲਾਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਪਗਡੰਡੇ ਸਭ ਡੁਬੋ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।
