ततः समारभत्‌ कर्म दैवं पित्रयं च भारत । आहूय देवानिन्द्रादीन्‌ भागं भागं विधिक्रमात्‌

Transliteration

tataḥ samārabhat karma daivaṁ pitryaṁ ca bhārata | āhūya devān indrādīn bhāgaṁ bhāgaṁ vidhikramāt ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਭਾਰਤ! ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੇਵ-ਕਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤ੍ਰ-ਕਰਮ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇੰਦਰ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਹਵਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ, ਵਿਧੀ-ਕ੍ਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਭਾਗ ਅਰਪਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
