Adhyāya 115: On Restraint Under Verbal Provocation in the Assembly (सभायां आक्रोश-सहिष्णुता)
यस्यावाच्यं न लोके5स्ति नाकार्य चापि किंचन । वाचं तेन न संदध्याच्छुचि: संश्लिष्टकर्मणा
yasya avācyaṃ na loke 'sti na akāryaṃ cāpi kiṃcana | vācaṃ tena na sandadhyāc chuciḥ saṃśliṣṭa-karmāṇā ||
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ‘ਅਵਾਚ੍ਯ’ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ‘ਅਕਾਰ੍ਯ’ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਚਿ—ਜੋ ਸਤਕਰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਮਰਯਾਦਿਤ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ—ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਲ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
