मृगराजं हितैर्वाक्यै: सम्बोधयितुमागमत् | पुत्र नैतत् त्वया ग्राह्मूं कपटारम्भसंयुतम्
mṛgarājaṃ hitair vākyaiḥ sambodhayitum āgamat | putra naitat tvayā grāhyaṃ kapaṭārambhasaṃyutam |
ਉਹ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਰਾਜ (ਸਿੰਘ) ਕੋਲ ਭਲੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਆਈ—“ਪੁੱਤਰ! ਇਹ ਨਾ ਮੰਨੀਂ; ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੀ ਕਪਟ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੋਖੇ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਲੁਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।”
