ऋषिसमागमः — युधिष्ठिरस्य शोकवर्णनम्

भ्रातृणां स्वस्ति कुर्वीथा येषां स्वस्ति चिकीर्षसि । एवमुक््त्वा किल पृथा विसृज्योपययौ गृहान्
bhrātṝṇāṁ svasti kurvīthā yeṣāṁ svasti cikīrṣasi | evam uktvā kila pṛthā visṛjya upayayau gṛhān |
“ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੈਰ ਤੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੈਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਰੀਂ।” ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਪૃਥਾ (ਕੁੰਤੀ) ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਮੁੜ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨੇਕ-ਨਿਯਤ ਕਰਮ ਬਣੇ— ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਚਾਹੋ, ਉਸ ਲਈ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਲਾ ਕਰੋ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋਣ।
