Gadāyuddhe Kṛṣṇopadeśaḥ (Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel in the Mace-Duel) — Śalya-parva 57
स भूय: शुशुभे पार्थस्ताडितो गदया रणे । उद्धिन्नरुधिरो राजन् प्रभिन्न इव कुज्जर:
sa bhūyaḥ śuśubhe pārthas tāḍito gadayā raṇe | uddhinnarudhiraḥ rājan prabhinna iva kuñjaraḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਦਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੜ ਘਾਇਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਪਾਰਥ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਚਮਕ ਉਠਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਫੁੱਟ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ; ਉਹ ਭੇਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਦਿੱਖਿਆ।
