Transliteration
devalas tu vacaḥ śrutvā bhūtānāṃ karuṇaṃ tathā
Translation
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਓਰੋਂ ਕਹੇ ਗਏ ਉਹ ਕਰੁਣ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਲ ਵੀ ਦ੍ਰਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ; ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਠੋਰਤਾ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਇਆ-ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ।
