प्रणष्टे तु तदा वह्लौ देवा: सर्वे सवासवा:

Transliteration

praṇaṣṭe tu tadā vahlau devāḥ sarve savāsavāḥ

Translation

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅੱਗ ਲੁਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਤਦ ਵਾਸਵ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਵਿਧੀ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੁੱਟ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਆਹਟ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ।
