Vasiṣṭhāpavāha: Sarasvatī’s Diversion and Viśvāmitra’s Curse (वसिष्ठापवाहः)
तस्य तस्य सरिच्छेष्ठा गुहादिशयनादिकम् । षड़सं भोजन चैव दानं नानाविधं तथा
tasya tasya saricchreṣṭhā guhādiśayanādikam | ṣaḍrasaṃ bhojanaṃ caiva dānaṃ nānāvidhaṃ tathā ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਮੰਡਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਜਿੱਥੇ-ਜਿੱਥੇ ਟਿਕੇ—ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ—ਉੱਥੇ-ਉੱਥੇ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਘਰ, ਸ਼ਯ੍ਯਾ, ਆਸਨ, ਛੇ ਰਸਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
