अनेकरूपाकृतिभिहिं बाणै- महारथानीकमनुप्रविश्य । स एवैकस्तव पुत्रस्य सेनां जघान दैत्यानिव वज्रपाणि:
sañjaya uvāca |
anekarūpākṛtibhir hi bāṇair mahārathānīkam anupraviśya |
sa evaikaḥ tava putrasya senāṃ jaghāna daityān iva vajrapāṇiḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਮਹਾਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁੱਸ ਕੇ, ਅਨੇਕ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਉਹ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਹਾਰ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਜ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੈਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
