केचित् पदातय: पद्धिर्मुष्टिभिश्व परस्परम् । निजघ्नु: समरे शूरा: क्षीणशस्त्रास्ततो5पतन्
Translation
ਕੁਝ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਪੈਦਲ ਯੋਧੇ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਭਿੜ ਪਏ; ਜਦ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਲੜਦਿਆਂ-ਲੜਦਿਆਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ।
