Transliteration

putrasya tava cātyartha viṣādaḥ samajāyata

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ: ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਵਿਸਾਦ ਹੋਇਆ—ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਤੀਖਾ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ-ਸਮਾਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਕੜ ਗਿਆ।
