साश्षारोहांश्व तुरगान् पत्तींश्वैव सहस्रधा । व्यपोथयत संग्रामे क्रुद्धों रुद्रः पशूनिव
sāśvārūḍhānś ca turagān pattīṃś caiva sahasradhā | vyapothayat saṅgrāme kruddho rudraḥ paśūn iva ||
ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਘੋੜਸਵਾਰਾਂ, ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਦਲ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਢੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕ੍ਰੁੱਧ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
