Educational Q&A

Ignoring righteous counsel (especially from a dharmic advisor like Vidura) turns warning into reality: ethical negligence produces predictable consequences, and responsibility lies with the one who refuses to act rightly.

Sanjaya reports a reflective, regret-tinged statement: Vidura’s earlier admonitions have been vindicated because Dhritarashtra’s son (Duryodhana) did not follow that advice, leading to the disastrous outcomes now unfolding in the Sauptika Parva context.
