Proposal for a Renewed Dice Game
अन्तो नूनं भवितायं कुरूणां सुदारुण: सर्वहरो विनाश: । वाच: काव्या: सुहृदां पथ्यरूपा न श्रूयन्ते वर्धते लोभ एव
anto nūnaṁ bhavitāyaṁ kurūṇāṁ sudāruṇaḥ sarvaharaḥ vināśaḥ | vācaḥ kāvyāḥ suhṛdāṁ pathyarūpā na śrūyante vardhate lobha eva ||
ਕੁਰੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ—ਅਤਿ ਦਾਰੁਣ, ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੜਪ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼। ਸੁਹਿਰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਵ੍ਯ-ਵਤ ਸੁਗਠਿਤ, ਪਥ੍ਯ-ਰੂਪ ਬਾਤ ਹੁਣ ਸੁਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ; ਕੇਵਲ ਲੋਭ ਹੀ ਵਧਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
