दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya

वासांसि च शुभान्यस्मै प्रददू राजशासनात्‌ | तथागतं तु तं दृष्टवा भीमसेनो महाबल:

Transliteration

vāsāṃsi ca śubhāny asmai pradadū rājaśāsanāt | tathāgataṃ tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā bhīmaseno mahābalaḥ |

Translation

ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਵਸਤ੍ਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ; ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਥਲ-ਪੁਥਲ ਹੋ ਉਠਿਆ।
