सभा पर्व, अध्याय ३७ — युधिष्ठिरस्य भीष्मोपदेशः
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Consultation and Bhīṣma’s Counsel in the Assembly
बाला यूयं न जानीध्वं धर्म: सूक्ष्मो हि पाण्डवा: । अयं च स्मृत्यतिक्रान्तो ह्वापगेयो5ल्पदर्शन:
bālā yūyaṁ na jānīdhvaṁ dharmaḥ sūkṣmo hi pāṇḍavāḥ | ayaṁ ca smṛtyatikrānto hy āpageyo 'lpadarśanaḥ ||
ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹੇ ਪਾਂਡਵੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਹੋ; ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਧਰਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖਮ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਬੁਢਾਪੇ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਦਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਗੁਆ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਤੇ ਵਿਵੇਕ ਮੰਦ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵੀ ਧੁੰਦਲੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
