Yudhiṣṭhira’s Consultation and Bhīṣma’s Counsel in the Assembly
क्लीबे दारक्रिया यादृगन्धे वा रूपदर्शनम् । अराज्ञो राजवत् पूजा तथा ते मधुसूदन
klībe dārakriyā yādṛg andhe vā rūpadarśanam | arājño rājavat pūjā tathā te madhusūdana ||
ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ—“ਹੇ ਮਧੁਸੂਦਨ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਨਪੁੰਸਕ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਰਚਾਉਣਾ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਖਾਉਣਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਖੌਲ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਰਾਜ-ਹੀਣ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪੂਜਣਾ ਵੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਵਿਡੰਬਨਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ।”
