Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality
वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्येवं मन्त्रमाग्नेयं पठन् यो जुहुयाद विभुम् । ऋद्धिमान् सततं दान्त: सर्वपापै: प्रमुच्यते
vaiśampāyana uvāca | ityevaṁ mantram āgneyam paṭhan yo juhuyād vibhum | ṛddhimān satataṁ dāntaḥ sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਹੇ ਜਨਮੇਜਯ! ਜੋ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਗਨੀ-ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਸ੍ਵਾਹਾ’ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਗਨੀਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਆਹੁਤੀ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ, ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਯ-ਸੰਯਮੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
