Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
ततः स राजा संहृष्ट: सर्व तदुपलभ्य च । अपृच्छद्धेमगर्भाभां राक्षसीं तामराक्षसीम्
tataḥ sa rājā saṁhṛṣṭaḥ sarva tad upalabhya ca | apṛcchad hemagarbhābhāṁ rākṣasīṁ tām arākṣasīm ||
ਇਹ ਸਭ ਵੇਖ-ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੱਦੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਸਾਰੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਕਾਂਤੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਉਸ ਰਾਖ਼ਸਣੀ ਨੂੰ—ਜੋ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਖ਼ਸਣੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਸੀ—ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ।
