Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
ततः सा राक्षसी राजन् विस्मयोत्फुल्ललोचना । न शशाक समुद्वोढुं वज़सारमयं शिशुम्
tataḥ sā rākṣasī rājan vismayotphullalocanā | na śaśāka samudvoḍhuṃ vajrasāramayaṃ śiśum |
ਤਦ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਖਿੜੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਉਹ ਰਾਖ਼ਸੀ ਉਸ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਨਾ ਸਕੀ; ਉਹ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਵਜ੍ਰ-ਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਪਿਆ।
