Samrāt-Lakṣaṇa and the Counsel to Check Jarāsandha (सम्राट्-लक्षणं जरासन्ध-प्रतिबाधा-परामर्शः)
समारम्भो न शक्योडयमन्यथा कुरुनन्दन । राजसूयश्न कार्त्स्न्येन कर्तु मतिमतां वर,बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ कुसनन्दन! ऐसा किये बिना राजसूययज्ञका आयोजन पूर्णरूपसे सफल न हो सकेगा
samārambho na śakyo ’yam anyathā kurunandana | rājasūyaḥ na kārtsnyena kartuṃ matimatāṃ vara ||
ਹੇ ਕੁਰੂ-ਨੰਦਨ, ਇਹ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹੇ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਰਾਜਸੂਯ ਯੱਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
