मयस्य प्रतिकृतिः — Maya’s Offer and the Commissioning of the Sabhā

मय उवाच युक्तमेतत्‌ त्वयि विभो यथा55त्थ पुरुषर्षभ । प्रीतिपूर्वमहं किंचित्‌ कर्तुमिच्छामि भारत,मयासुर बोला--प्रभो! पुरुषोतम! आपने जो बात कही है, वह आप-जैसे महापुरुषके अनुरूप ही है; परंतु भारत! मैं बड़े प्रेमसे आपके लिये कुछ करना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

maya uvāca yuktam etat tvayi vibho yathāttha puruṣarṣabha | prītipūrvam ahaṃ kiñcit kartum icchāmi bhārata ||

Translation

ਮਯਾਸੁਰ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਪੁਰਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ! ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਹਾਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸੋਭਦਾ ਹੈ; ਫਿਰ ਵੀ, ਹੇ ਭਾਰਤ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
