आहत्य च यशो दीप्त॑ सुयुद्धेनात्मनो भुवि । विसृज्य शरवर्षाणि प्रताप्य च दिशो दश
Transliteration
āhatya ca yaśo dīptaṁ suyuddhenātmano bhuvi | visṛjya śaravarṣāṇi pratāpya ca diśo daśa
Translation
ਸ਼ਲ੍ਯ ਬੋਲੇ—ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਦਿਪਤਿਮਾਨ ਯਸ਼ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ; ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਵਗਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਜਤਾਇਆ।
