सुरोत्तमैरप्यविषद्मर्दितुं प्रसहा नागेन जहार तद् वृष: । स दुष्टभावो वितथप्रतिज्ञ: पं किक, 0 तमर्जुनस्य

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲੇ—ਉਹ ਆਘਾਤ ਦੇਵੋੱਤਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਅਸਹਿਣ ਸੀ; ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨਾਗ ਨੇ ਬਲਪੂਰਵਕ ਉਹ ਛੀਨ ਲਿਆ। ਦੁਰਭਾਵ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਗਿਆ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਹ ਸਰਪ ਪਾਰਥ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਮুকੁਟ ਲੈ ਉਡਿਆ—ਅਰਜੁਨ ਦੀ ਯੁੱਧ-ਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਅਸ਼ੁਭ ਮੋੜ ਸੀ।
