मम तावदपर्याप्तौ कर्णशल्यौ जनार्दन । सपताकध्वजं कर्ण सशल्यरथवाजिनम्
mama tāvad aparyāptau karṇaśalyau janārdana | sapatākadhvajaṃ karṇaṃ saśalyarathavājinam ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਅਰਜੁਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਜਨਾਰਦਨ! ਕਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਲ੍ਯ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅੱਜ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ—ਧੁਜਾ-ਪਤਾਕਾ ਸਮੇਤ, ਸ਼ਲ੍ਯ ਸਮੇਤ, ਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਟੁਕੜੇ-ਟੁਕੜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
