तामन्तरिक्षे विततां शस्त्रवृष्टिं समन्‍्तत: । व्यधमत्‌ पाण्डवो बाणैस्तम: सूर्य इवांशुभि:

Transliteration

tām antarīkṣe vitatāṁ śastravṛṣṭiṁ samantataḥ | vyadhamat pāṇḍavo bāṇais tamaḥ sūrya ivāṁśubhiḥ ||

Translation

ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਹੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਫੈਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ-ਵਰਖਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਉਂ ਛਿੱਦਰ-ਭਿੱਦਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
