किरीटथधारी अर्जुनके उत्तम बाणोंसे आहत होकर नित्य मद बहानेवाले
samantāj jaladaprakhyān vāraṇān madavarṣiṇaḥ | abhipede 'rjunaratho ghanān bhindann ivāṃśumān ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਅਰਜੁਨ ਦਾ ਰਥ ਚਾਰੋਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਾਲੇ, ਮਦ ਝਾੜਦੇ ਗਜਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਘੁੱਸ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰਦਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਿਆ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਰਣਮਾਨ ਸੂਰਜ ਘਣੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਾੜ ਕੇ ਚਮਕ ਉਠਦਾ ਹੈ।
