अथ प्रहस्याधिरथिदव्याक्षिपद् धनुरुत्तमम् । मुमोच निशितान् बाणान् पीडयन् सुमहाबल:
atha prahasyādhirathidavyākṣipad dhanuruttamam | mumoca niśitān bāṇān pīḍayan sumahābalaḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਫਿਰ ਅਧਿਰਥ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਕਰਣ ਹੱਸਿਆ, ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੀ ਟੰਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੀੜਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਤੀਰ ਛੱਡਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ।
संजय उवाच
