अन्यद्‌ गृहा धनु: सज्यं त्वरमाणो महाबल:

Transliteration

anyad gṛhā dhanuḥ sajyaṃ tvaramāṇo mahābalaḥ | rājendra mahābalī bhīmaḥ jīvitamoham utsṛjya subalaputrasya senāṃ tadā bāṇair ācchādayām āsa ||

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ— ਰਾਜੇਂਦ੍ਰ! ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਭੀਮ ਨੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਡੋਰੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ। ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਸੁਬਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਘਣੀ ਤੀਰ-ਵਰਖਾ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
