व्यतिक्रममिमं राजन्‌ सत्यसंरक्षणं प्रति । “इसलिये महाबाहो! राजन! मेरे और अर्जुन दोनोंके सत्यकी रक्षाके लिये किये गये इस अपराधको आप क्षमा करें

vyatikramam imaṁ rājan satyasaṁrakṣaṇaṁ prati |

ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਮਹਾਬਾਹੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਜੁਨ—ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ।
