Arjuna’s targeted advance; Śalya–Karṇa dialogue; interception attempts
चक्राणि चापविद्धानि तोमरांश्व महारणे । नानाविधानि शस्त्राणि प्रगृह् जयगृद्धिन:
cakrāṇi cāpaviddhāni tomarāṁś ca mahāraṇe | nānāvidhāni śastrāṇi pragṛhya jayagṛddhinaḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਉਸ ਮਹਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਤ ਦੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਧਨੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੇ ਚੱਕਰ-ਅਸਤ੍ਰ, ਤੋਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
