अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

दुर्योधन तु विरथं छिन्नवर्मायुधं रणे
duryodhana tu virathaṁ chinnavarmāyudhaṁ raṇe
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਪਰ ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਰਥ-ਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ; ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਵਚ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਕੱਟੇ ਗਏ। ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਲ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਪਲਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
