अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

प्रफुल्लं पड़कजं यद्वद् भ्रमरा मधुलिप्सव: | कारीगरके द्वारा साफ किये गये वे बाण धृष्टद्युम्नके मुखकी ऐसी शोभा बढ़ाने लगे, मानो मधुलोभी भ्रमर प्रफुल्ल कमल-पुष्पका रसास्वादन कर रहे हों

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮਧੁ-ਲੋਭੀ ਭੌਰੇ ਖਿੜੇ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਕਾਰੀਗਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਉਹ ਤੀਰ ਧ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਦ੍ਯੁਮਨ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ—ਮਾਨੋ ਕਮਲ-ਰਸ ਦਾ ਆਸਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਭੌਰੇ ਹੋਣ।
