ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਸਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਕਰ; ਤੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਬੰਧੂ (ਨਾਮ-ਮਾਤਰ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ) ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਮਹਾਬਾਹੋ! ਅੱਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ-ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੌਰਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤਾਂਗਾ। ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿਖਾ; ਤੂੰ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਵਧਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਭ੍ਰਸ਼ਟ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਹੈਂ।
