कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा

अभ्यद्रवन्त समरे भीम॑ भीमपराक्रमम् । प्रभो! उस शूरवीरकों मारा गया देख उसके भाई समरभूमिमें भयंकर पराक्रमी भीमसेनपर सब ओरसे टूट पड़े
abhyadravanta samare bhīmaṁ bhīmaparākramam | prabho! taṁ śūravīraṁ hataṁ dṛṣṭvā tasya bhrātaraḥ samarabhūmau bhayaṅkara-parākramiṇaṁ bhīmasenam sarvataḥ samantāt pratyapatanta |
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਾਲੇ ਭੀਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਟੁੱਟ ਪਏ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਉਸ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ-ਕਰਤਵ ਦੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਭੜਕ ਉਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ-ਏ-ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਦੌੜੇ।
