अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

तान् सूतपुत्रो विशिखैर्दशभिर्दशभि: शरै: | रथेनानुचरन् वीर: प्रत्यविध्यदरिंदम:,रथसे विचरनेवाले शत्रुदमन वीर सूतपुत्र कर्णने भी उन सबको दस-दस बाणोंसे घायल कर दिया
tān sūtaputro viśikhair daśabhir daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ | rathenānucaran vīraḥ pratyavidhyad arindamaḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਤਦ ਰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਦਮਨ ਵੀਰ ਸੂਤਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ-ਇਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਸ-ਦਸ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ।
