कर्णपरर्वणि त्रयोचत्वारिंशदध्यायः (Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 43) — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Assessment and the Reversal Around Bhīma

ब्राह्मणेन तथा प्रोक्त विदुषा साधुसंसदि । काष्ठकुण्डेषु वाहीका मृन्मयेषु च भुज्जते

brāhmaṇena tathā proktaṃ viduṣā sādhusaṃsadi | kāṣṭhakuṇḍeṣu vāhīkā mṛṇmayeṣu ca bhuñjate, tadvikārāṃś ca vāhīkāḥ khādanti ca pibanti ca |

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵਾਹੀਕ ਲੱਕੜ ਦੇ ਕੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਬਰਤਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਕਾਰਿਤ/ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਬਚੇਖੁਚੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਤੇ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
