Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
पुत्राणां तस्य बालानां कुमाराणां यशस्विनाम्
putrāṇāṃ tasya bālānāṃ kumārāṇāṃ yaśasvinām
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ—ਜੋ ਹਾਲੇ ਨਿੱਕੇ, ਕੇਵਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਨ; ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਯਸ਼ਸਵੀ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਜੰਗ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਦਈ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਬਣ ਗਈ।
