कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
विष्णुं सोमं हुताशं च तस्येषुं समकल्पयन् । तदनन्तर उन देवसंघोंने रथका निर्माण किया और विष्णु, चन्द्रमा तथा अग्नि--इन तीनोंको उनका बाण बनाया
viṣṇuṃ somaṃ hutāśaṃ ca tasyaiṣuṃ samakalpayan | tadanantaraṃ tu devasaṅghair rathasya nirmāṇaṃ kṛtaṃ, viṣṇu-soma-hutāśāś ca tasya bāṇāḥ kṛtāḥ |
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਐਸਾ ਬਾਣ ਘੜਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ, ਸੋਮ (ਚੰਦਰਮਾ) ਅਤੇ ਹੁਤਾਸ਼ਨ (ਅੱਗ) ਤਿੰਨੇ ਸਮਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇਵ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਰਥ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ, ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ—ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਾਣ—ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ।
