Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 95 — Sātyaki’s Breakthrough and the Routing of Allied Contingents
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत जयद्रथवधपर्वमें श्रुतायुध और युदाक्षिणका वधविषयक बानबेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargataṁ jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi śrutāyudha-yudākṣiṇor vadha-viṣayakaḥ bāṇabevāṁ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮਹਾਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰੋਣ ਪਰਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਯਦ੍ਰਥਵਧ ਪਰਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਾਯੁਧ ਅਤੇ ਯੁਦਾਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਣ ਦੇ ਵਧ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਬਾਨਵੇਂ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਹੋਈ। ਇਹ ਵਰਣਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ—ਬਦਲੇ, ਨੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਕੌਸ਼ਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸੰਯਮ ਘਿਸਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਨ ਅਟੱਲ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਭਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
