Droṇasya raudra-prayogaḥ
Droṇa’s intensified assault and the Pāṇḍava response
परिवेषो महांश्वापि सविद्युत्स्तनयित्नुमान्
pariveṣo mahāṁś cāpi savidyut-stanayitnumān
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—“ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਪਰਿਵੇਸ਼ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ—ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਗੜਗੜਾਹਟ ਸਮੇਤ।” ਯੁੱਧ-ਵ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਅਪਸ਼ਕੁਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਦੀ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
