कर्णोडपि चास्य चिक्षेप बाणान्‌ संनतपर्वण:

Transliteration

karṇo 'pi cāsya cikṣepa bāṇān sannataparvaṇaḥ

Translation

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੰਨਤ-ਗੰਢਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਾਣ ਛੱਡੇ—ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੋੜ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਨ; ਧਰਮਯੁਕਤ ਪਰ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੋਰ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ।
