ईदृशश्व महादेवो भूयांश्न भगवानज: । न हि सर्वे मया शक्‍्या वक्तुं भगवतो गुणा:

Transliteration

īdṛśaś ca mahādevo bhūyāṁś ca bhagavān ajaḥ | na hi sarve mayā śakyā vaktuṁ bhagavato guṇāḥ ||

Translation

ਵਿਆਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਹੈ—ਸਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਡਾ, ਭਗਵਾਨ, ਅਜਨਮਾ। ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ।
