Transliteration

pitrā tu mama sāvasthā prāptā nirbandhunā yathā

Translation

ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹ ਹਾਲਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਕ-ਸੰਬੰਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ, ਬੇਬਸ ਤੇ ਲਾਚਾਰ ਹੋਵਾਂ।
